Jack the Horse needs a home
This handsome guy is named Jack. He is a 12 year old Thoroughbred cross. He is looking for someone who has experience starting horses from the ground up. Its never to late to teach an old horse new tricks, and Jack is anything but old. He came to the SPCA through our Humane Investigations team. He was living in unsanitary conditions, and was surrendered in the field. Lucky for him, he came to us and has been doing well ever since. He has a very willing attitude. We would like to see Jack go to someone who is ready to commit the time necessary that is required to teach Jack the skills he needs to be a fabulous little horse! He is learning to lead, yield his hindquarters, back up, flex his head laterally, lower his head, work calmly on a lunge line, and tolerate movement around him.
